Hey, was feeling acute hanger prank in tummy, and there were not many veggies available at home, which made me come down to making calorie free quickest and easiest microwave Dhokla.
Here is what i did which ended up in a tasteful n delightful snack!
Besan (chickpea powder) - 1 cup
Water - 1 cup
Eno - 1 tsp
Jeera (cumin) - 1 tsp
Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
Green/Red chilli (chopped) - 1
How did I make it -
I took a bowl, mixed besan, and 1/2 tsp of oil. In one cup of water i added 1 tsp of eno, and while it was bubbling, added it to the besan in bowl. Mixed well till no clumps. Now take a microwave pan, grease it with a tsp of oil, add the batter and microwave, without lid, it on high for 3 minutes.
After its done, cut it into pieces, and do the tempering as follows -
Over direct flame, take 1 tsp oil, add jeera, mustard seeds and chilli. When it splutters, pour it over the dhokla.
Eat it as it is or if you like , add some grated coconut powder, corriander leaves, dip it in green chutney and take a bite!
