   ATTA KA HALWA (FLOUR HALWA)

                                                       

                                                         

Have an un expected guest at home?

Treat them with as quick dessert as possible with this traditional halwa.:)

Nothing special ingredient required.

Wheat Flour - 1 cup

Sugar - a little more than 1/2 cup (rest on taste)

Water - 5 cups

Desi Ghee - 1/2 cup 

 

Make it this way:

Heat a pan (preferably non stick). Add desi ghee and let it warm for 2-3 min. Add flour and keep stirring it lightly till the flour turns brownish.

In another bowl, add sugar and water and warm it (so that the sugar dissolves). Add this syrup to the Flour in pan  which has turned brownish . Stir it for another 5-7 min till you get a consistency of halwa and all the water evaporates. The halwa is ready to be eaten. Garnish it with dry fruits.:)
