            PALAK PANEER

Palak Paneer or Spinach Cottage cheese is the healthier options available for a meal which is full of iron ores ;) [ health wise]



Keep ready-

Palak (Spinach) - 1 bundle (washed and cut the lower end with long stems)

Cottage Cheese - upto your taste , how many chunks you like

Cooking oil (personal preference olive oil for its health benefits) - 1 tsp

Garam masala - 1/2 tsp

Salt - to taste

Haldi (turmeric) - 1/2 tsp

Corriander powder - 1 tsp

Jeera (cumin seeds) - 1 tsp

Green chilli (fresh, chopped) - 1

Ginger - 1 tsp (chopped finely)

Onions - 2 (cut into 2 halves)

Tomato - 2 (cut into 2 halves


Method -

Boil the palak in 1 cup of water for 5 minutes.

Take a mixie, pour in the contents of palak with water (whatever there), onions, tomato and blend blend blend, till a fine paste.

In another pan, take oil, add garam masala, salt, jeera, cumin seeds, ginger, green chilli and let it splitter for a minute or so. Now add all the paste of mixie in this pan and let it simmer for 10-15 minutes. Add cheese and let it simmer till you get a desired semi paste like consistency and excess water has evaporated.

Serve 2 people, serve hot along with Chapatti.
